The latest buzz in the gaming world centers around Valve’s new hero shooter/MOBA game, Deadlock. Currently in its Alpha phase, Deadlock allows players to experience the gameplay and explore the playable characters. Deadlock Heroes List

Deadlock is currently in its Alpha test, with only selected players able to join the playtest. For those fortunate enough to join, they can experience the gameplay and try out the available characters.

Abrams – Charges into Close Combat

Skill Name	Description
Siphon Life	Drain health from enemies in front of you while they are in the radius.
Shoulder Charge	Charge forward, colliding with enemies and dragging them along. Speed increases after colliding with enemy Heroes.
Infernal Resilience	Regenerate a portion of incoming damage over time.
Seismic Impact	Leap high into the air and smash into the ground, damaging and stunning all enemies in the radius.

Bebop – Hooks an Enemy for a Knockout Combo

Skill Name	Description
Exploding Uppercut	Deal light melee damage to nearby units and send them flying back, causing area damage where they land.
Sticky Bomb	Attach a sticky bomb to a nearby target that explodes after a short fuse time, dealing explosive damage.
Hook	Launch a hook that grabs and reels in the first enemy or friendly hero it hits, dealing damage if the target is an enemy.
Hyper Beam	Charge up a laser to unleash a powerful torrent of energy that damages and slows enemies. Hover in the air if activated while airborne.

Dynamo – Locks Down the Enemy Team

Guided Owl	Launch a spirit owl that you control, exploding on impact. Accelerate the owl or release control at will.

Haze – Sneaks In and Sprays Bullets

Skill Name	Description
Sleep Dagger	Throw a dagger that damages and sleeps the target. Does not break invisibility.
Smoke Bomb	Fade out of sight, becoming invisible and gaining sprint speed. Close enemies can see through invisibility.
Fixation	Shooting a target increases bullet damage on that target. Gain one stack per bullet hit, two if the hit is a headshot.
Bullet Dance	Enter a flurry, firing your weapon at nearby enemies with perfect accuracy. Gain a fire rate bonus and evade some incoming bullets.

Infernus – Lights Up Enemies and Watches Them Burn

Catalyst	Spew napalm that slows enemy movement and amplifies damage from Infernus.
Flame Dash	Move forward at high speed, leaving a flame trail that burns enemies.
Afterburn	Your bullets apply a burning effect on enemies, refreshing the duration with each hit.

Ivy – Sets Up a Power Duo with a Lucky Ally

Watcher’s Covenant	Gain bonuses and connect with a nearby ally to share them. Healing is replicated among all connected.
True Form	Turn into impervious stone, smash into the ground, stunning and damaging enemies nearby, healing for a percentage of max health.
Air Drop	Take flight with an ally or a bomb. Drop to cause a large explosion that slows movement. Gain bullet shield after flying ends.

Kelvin – Freezes Enemies in Their Tracks

Frost Grenade	Throw a grenade that explodes in a cloud of freezing ice, damaging and slowing enemies.
Ice Path	Create a floating trail of ice and snow, giving movement bonuses to Kelvin and allies. Enemies can also walk on it.
Arctic Beam	Shoot freezing cold energy, damaging and slowing anything it touches. Slow increases in strength the longer it hits, applying disarm at max strength.
Frozen Shelter	Freeze the air around you, creating an impenetrable dome. Allies rapidly regenerate health and enemies are slowed.

Lady Geist – Sacrifices Health then Drains it Back

Skill Name	Description
Essence Bomb	Sacrifice some health to launch a bomb that deals damage after a brief arm time.
Life Drain	Create a tether that drains enemy health over time and heals you. Movement speed is reduced while draining.
Malice	Sacrifice some health to launch blood shards that apply a stack of Malice, slowing and increasing damage on the victim.
Soul Exchange	Swap health levels with an enemy target, bringing them down to a minimum health percentage.

Lash – Dives Down to Stomp His Foes

Skill Name	Description
Ground Strike	Stomp the ground beneath you, damaging enemies in front. Quickly dive towards the ground if airborne.
Grapple	Pull yourself through the air toward a target, gaining a weapon damage bonus that stacks independently. Restores one stamina charge and all air jumps and dashes.
Flog	Strike enemies with a whip, stealing life from them.
Death Slam	Connect whips to enemies, lift and slam them into the ground, damaging and slowing them.

McGinnis – Controls the Battle with Combat Turrets

Skill Name	Description
Mini Turret	Deploy a mini turret that automatically shoots enemies. Turrets gain a portion of McGinnis’s max health and spirit resist, but deal reduced damage to troopers and objectives.
Medicinal Specter	Deploy a spirit that heals nearby units.
Spectral Wall	Create a wall that divides the terrain, dealing damage and slowing enemies nearby. Can be erupted early to deal additional damage.
Heavy Barrage	Unleash a volley of rockets that home in on a targeted location.

Mo & Krill – Burrows Underneath His Opponents

Skill Name	Description
Scorn	Deal damage to nearby enemies and heal yourself based on the damage done, with stronger healing against enemy heroes.
Burrow	Burrow underground, moving faster and gaining spirit and bullet armor. Knock enemies into the air and perform a spin attack upon emerging.
Sand Blast	Spray sand that disarms enemies in front of you, dealing damage.
Combo	Hold a target in place, stunning and dealing damage during the channel.

Paradox – Manipulates Space and Time

Pulse Grenade	Throw a grenade that pulses on landing, dealing damage, slowing movement, and amplifying damage against the victim.
Time Wall	Create a time-warping wall that stops time for all enemy projectiles and bullets. Enemies touching the wall take damage and are slowed.
Kinetic Carbine	Charge your weapon, gaining increased movement speed once fully charged. The next shot deals spirit damage and applies a time stop.

Alchemical Flask	Smash a flask at your feet, dealing damage, slowing, and reducing weapon damage of enemies within the radius.
Willpower	Gain a spirit shield that provides bonus movement speed and blocks spirit damage-based effects.
Binding Word	Curse an enemy hero. If they don’t move away within the escape time, they will be damaged and immobilized.
Last Stand	After charging for 2.2 seconds, release pulses that damage enemies and heal based on the damage done.

Wraith – Melts Isolated Targets

Royal Flush	Telekinetically throw cards that hit random targets around you, dealing damage.
Project Mind	Teleport to the targeted location.
Full Auto	Temporarily boosts fire rate. Nearby allies receive half the fire rate bonus.
Telekinesis	Lift an enemy hero into the air, interrupting them and preventing ability and item use for a short time. When the lift ends, the target receives Telekinesis damage.

Yamato – Delivers Charged Attacks with Finesse

Power Slash	Channel to increase damage over 1.5 seconds, then release a fully-charged sword strike.
Flying Strike	Throw a grappling hook to reel yourself toward an enemy, damaging and slowing the target on arrival.
Crimson Slash	Slash enemies in front, damaging them and slowing their fire rate. Healing occurs if enemy heroes are hit.
Shadow Transformation	Become infused with Yamato’s shadow soul, refreshing abilities, granting infinite ammo, and providing damage resist and immunity to negative status effects. You are unable to die in this mode.
